Red Twin is ready for the world—but is the world ready for a sci-fi adventure with a deep emotional core?
September 16 is closing in fast as I write this (13 August 2026), and to be honest, I feel a bit anxious. Releasing locally in Sweden was one thing, but now we’re talking about the rest of the world. None of this matters, of course, if no one reads it. That’s where you come in—you could become a beta reader and get access today.
Beta readers (ARC) are welcome to apply at my socials or info (at) thomaskung dot se.
Don’t worry—it’s not some big commitment. If you happen to like my debut novel and happen to have an account at Amazon/Goodreads, you can choose to leave a review at the end.
No demand, no compensation, just a free book. That’s it.
So what are you in for? Well, I hope it’s a journey that will capture you and that the protagonist, Tuya, is someone you will come to care about. When we begin the story, Tuya has all but given up on the quest to find her uncle Bold, who mysteriously vanished one night when she was eight. Things aren’t exactly going well for Tuya, who’s tried to leave her old life behind and settle down in Sweden. She never gets along with her bosses and has a hard time with relationships in general.
When her old friend Kate shows up with a hot new lead, Tuya is dragged back in against her wishes, only to find the lead is real. The Colony is real. Bold might be out there after all.
If this sounds interesting, please let me know, and I’ll set you up as a beta reader. You’ll get the link to Bookfunnel—an app like Kindle where you can download the book. Actually, you can start reading the first chapter right now.
If you would like to learn more about Kate, take a look at the free prequel Cost of Truth.
Be ready to stand up for humanity, rebel.
